Slating started

Natural slate roof started. If all goes to schedule should be complete in a couple of days time.

From bare concrete slab to wind and water tight house in four days. Slates delivered to site ready for roofer arriving on Monday.

House Build, Day 3

Sarking board, counter battens, and outer layer of membrane added to roof, ready for slating next week. Glazing starting to go in. Views framed, including a particularly good one of the Portaloo.

First floor wall panels, first floor load bearing partitions and roof panels all in place and crane away !
