Blockwork chimney built and screeding started

Custom made aluminium cappings fitted over hardwood door cills

Ducting and pipework for electrical and plumbing needs (weather-proof mains socket, electrical isolator for air-souce heat pump, door bells front and rea, outside lights front and rear, satellite cable entry point, telephone cable entry point, alternative telephone cable entry point, air source heat pump flow and return pipes, utility room waste pipe, discharge pipe for hot water cylinder and air supply duct for woodburning stove). All sealed and air-tight.

Not obviously visible from the photp's: repairs to nicks and tears in outside breather foil, gaps around doors and windows sealed with silicon (about 16 tubes altogether), exposed wood at roof verges sealed with liquid DPM and hiden behind black angle trim. Stainless steel insect mesh fitted between battens all around the perimeter of the house.

Next steps, external battens to be packed, planed and cajoled into providing perfectly level fixing points for glass-fibre render carrier boards, render carrier boards to be fitted and two coat acrylic render applied. Rainwater goods to be fitted. Exterior of the house will then be finished and scaffold can be taken away.
